After “escaping” from Little England at the age of 21, I toured classrooms across Europe, Africa and Asia, using my ability to teach English as foreign language as a visa to interesting countries in interesting times. Later, the life of a freelance translator tortured my back but led to an office in Turin with my name on the door and a pension plan.
Once released from the tyranny of other people’s words, I started to concentrate on my own. I am now the author of the social science fiction novella Goodbye, Padania, several other e-books and countless poems.
I welcome visitors here: http://www.bryanmurphy.eu and you can find my e-books at Amazon, Smashwords, and other major retailers. A novel set in Portugal during its revolutionary period in the 1970s is in the pipeline.
